What You Are Purchasing…
1. DVD of the simulation labs. I created an instructional DVD showing exactly what I did to pass each simulation. There are five simulations on the DVD. (running time is 38 minutes)
2. I completed my CPNE in Janesville, WI with no repeats. I’m including a personal account of my PCS’s, the areas of care assigned, and the nursing diagnosis’s I used. (19 pages)
3. Nursing Diagnosis’s. A list of very common nursing diagnosis’, interventions, goals, and the rationales.
4. Mnemonics. I’m including the mnemonics that I used for each PCS.
5. A sample grid. This shows a fool proof way to make sure you don’t miss a single critical element for each area of care.
6. Sample charting for each area of care. I’m including samples for each area of care. This includes variations from normal findings.
I took the CPNE and passed with no repeats on the first try. I gathered a wealth of information during my time studying and preparing for the CPNE. I purchased a couple of good study aides and a couple of really bad study aides. I decided to create my own because this test was one of the biggest stresses of my adult life and when I was studying and searching for quality material I couldn’t find anything valuable and affordable. The quality and organization of the study material used makes a huge difference preparing for the CPNE.
